Lust Have It - May 2014 review

I'm always excited when I get my Lust Have It in the post, it is in my opinion the best subscription box available for the cost. Head over to www.lusthaveit.com.au if you aren't familiar with it!

Unfortunately this month the new packaging (the zipped bag) that they released last month was not ready so instead of delaying the shipment they sent them without and gave us a $20 voucher to use against their other boxes. I was disappointed to not receive the packaging however thumbs up to LHI for not delaying the shipment (Her Fashion Box should take note!!!) and an even bigger thumbs up for giving us this bonus! I went ahead and ordered one of their Fashion and Beauty Boxes using the code.

Bellabox - May 2014 review

My Bellabox was the first of my subscription boxes to arrive this month, on the 28th May. The theme for this month's box is 'Come Fly With Me'. If you aren't familiar with Bellabox it is a monthly subscription box containing beauty items for $15 per month. For more information visit their website www.bellabox.com.au

So what was in this month's box?

Mirenesse haul

I was introduced to the Mirenesse brand after receiving a lip bomb in a Her Fashion Box. Although I received a colour which I wouldn't necessarily wear, I just loved the product. Highly pigmented, moisturising and long lasting. I had a look at their website and read lots of reviews and finally decided to take the plunge and make an order. They always have specials and good deals on their products (and I do mean ALWAYS. Once you sign up to their newsletter you get an email almost every day with deals!) so I decided to finally take advantage!

I ordered a birthday surprise box for $19.95, a skin clone powdered foundation for $64.95 and a Kitty's surprise box for $18.40. I used a vogue voucher for 20% off, received free shipping and also received two bonus samples. All in all, cost me $70.82.

Her Fashion Box - April 2014 review

April is my last box from Her Fashion Box as I have now unsubscribed. Again they were late, I received this on 16 May. My biggest problem with HFB is their lack of communication. They don't give any updates on where the boxes are until you ask them which for me is not good enough. Yes I understand they moved buildings and had problems with receiving items from suppliers but really, you'd think they would be a month or so in front anyway. Their boxes have been steadily going downhill product wise, and for $39.95 a month (being the most expensive one I subscribe to) it just wasn't worth it anymore!

April's box came in a satchel, with everything tucked into the tote bag. The socks and magazine were seperate to the rest of the products, again included in a small HFB magnetic box. Here is what the April Classic box contained:

 

Lust Have It - April 2014 review

First of all, I should apologise for the lateness in posting this review. I did actually receive this on 8 May but I have been so busy I haven't had time to get on the computer before now! Obviously LHI were late as well, considering this is the April box. LHI have been getting later and later with their boxes, and this is now the second box in a row that I have received it in the following month. (I do have to say as well that I live rurally so post does take a few days extra to get to me). Hopefully this month is different...

 

Anyway, that aside April's 'box' has seen the launch of their new packaging! A lovely little clear pouch, with pink and gold trim with 'Lustre Beauty' printed on the front. I am really impressed with it, it feels fairly good quality, with a good strong zip. In my opinion this packaging is much better than a box as it can be used more and even double as gifts. Really happy! Here is what I received in the box. Hmm feels weird saying that now! Pouch? Package?
