Lust Have It - May 2014 review

I'm always excited when I get my Lust Have It in the post, it is in my opinion the best subscription box available for the cost. Head over to www.lusthaveit.com.au if you aren't familiar with it!

Unfortunately this month the new packaging (the zipped bag) that they released last month was not ready so instead of delaying the shipment they sent them without and gave us a $20 voucher to use against their other boxes. I was disappointed to not receive the packaging however thumbs up to LHI for not delaying the shipment (Her Fashion Box should take note!!!) and an even bigger thumbs up for giving us this bonus! I went ahead and ordered one of their Fashion and Beauty Boxes using the code.

Anyway, what was inside this month's box?

 

This month I received 5 full size products! Wow! Very impressed at this, it is over $85 in products! Lust Have It really have done a great job this month.

 

Mary Kay Lip Lacquer RRP $22

This was the product we got to choose this month. We could choose out of two colours and I chose 'Chai Latte'. This comes in a little pot with a seperate retractable brush. I found the brush a little difficult to use as you have to hold the little slider that pushes the brush out whilst you are applying the product. As the brush is quite stiff it digs at the product so I found it easier to just apply with my finger. I was really suprised by how shiny this was! It is also very sheer. I really like this and will definately be using it a lot!

 

Coral Colours Eyebrow Definer Pencil RRP $7.95

I don't really use brow pencils, as I feel that powder gives a much more natural look. I'm going to leave this sealed and gift it I think!

 

Coral Colours Eyeshadow Quartet RRP $7.95

I love the colours in this palette, they are called 'vibrant forest' and are very suitable for this time of year. I'm looking forward to trying these out. Hopefully will be good!

 

The Cosmetic Kitchen Pure Mineral Blush RRP $34.9g

This is a HUGE blush! I've never seen a blush so big! I'm a big fan of this brand after receiving an eyeshadow in a previous LHI box. A problem with this is the lid doesn't close very well so it would be risky in a travel bag! Looking forward to trying this out.

 

Premium Spa Face and Body Mask RRP $14.99

I've never actually used a body mask before! Love the fact this is another Aussie brand. Not sure if I'll use this or not, so I'm leaving the seal on whilst I decide!

 

Overall a great box from Lust Have It. They have done really well this month and am looking forward to see what June holds :)
