What I Loved in September

I literally can't even put into words how quickly this year is going! Where on earth did September even go?? It only feels like yesterday I was writing about what I loved in August, and here I am, about to share what I loved in September! C-R-A-Z-Y.

September has been a good month for me. Our farm finished lambing (had been going since June... phew!), my partner and I made some great decisions about our wedding, my skin has been getting better since returning to my loved skincare routine and I've fallen back in love with a nude lip. Not to mention it's spring so the weather is beautiful! Anyway, onto the products I simply loved during September:

My most favourite item in September, and one I've reached for almost daily, has been theBalm Nude Tude eyeshadow palette (RRP $49.95 at Bellabox) For me this has a great versatility in day-to-day makeup and night/going out makeup. It lasts well, has limited fall out and the formula is lush (except perhaps for one shade, snobby). I've done so many looks with this palette it literally feels like the possibilities are endless - not to mention the packaging is rocking! Love Love Love.

Up next is the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics concealer in shade R1 (RRP $20 at Lipstick Republic). This has a wonderfully creamy texture which provides great coverage. Perfect for concealing dark under eyes (without drying out the area, or creasing and falling into fine lines) and those pesky red breakouts. This has been my go-to concealer for hiding my breakouts this month, which thankfully seem to be on the mend. I've also been loving Clinique Even Better Makeup in shade 03 Ivory (RRP $50 at Clinique). I am already a big fan of Clinique's foundations but only recently tried a sample of this foundation. I went and picked up a full size the next day! This gives good coverage without feeling to heavy on the skin. I've been wearing this almost every day since I discovered it.

Another great discovery this month has been the Real Techniques Stippling Brush (RRP $22.99 at Priceline). I have only ever stuck with normal foundation brushes, and picked this up on a whim. Boy does it make a difference! How have I lived without this brush? It makes blending a dream whilst also giving a nice airbrushed kind of look. Perfect.

As the weather warms up I've been tanning at home and I can't stop turning to my St Tropez Gradual Tan with Anti-Ageing (RRP $39.99 at Priceline) for my face. This is literally the only facial tanner that doesn't make me breakout. It also doesn't leave me orange as it is a gradual tanner, so just gives me a nice healthy glow. For my body, and to help pro-long my fake tan, I've been using Mor Hand & Body Lotion in Honey Nextar (RRP $19.95 at Priceline). This has the most beautiful smell, and is so luxurious. It's a nice thick, hydrating lotion and I simply can't get enough.

Lastly (but certainly not least!) I have fallen back in love with nude lips. I had been all about pink lips over the last couple of months but lately have been wearing Bellabox Pout Pencil in Nuuude (RRP $14.99 at Bellabox). This is a lovely nude and also doesn't dry out my lips, nor does in fall into lines. The only downside is the longevity - I do have to re-apply every hour or so which can get tedious so when I'm not in the mood for that I reach for Rimmel Apocalips in Nude Eclipse (RRP $15.95 at Priceline) as this lasts well and gives my lips a bit of shine which I love.

So those are the products I've been loving in September. What have you been loving lately?
