Be a Bombshell Eyeliner - review

First things first, I am an eyeliner addict. Like crazy addict. It is seriously the one thing I can't live without. If my house was burning down I'd grab my eyeliner collection.... okay, that is probably a bit far but you get the picture!

I've only really used eyeshadow from the Be a Bombshell range and had a pretty good experience (up until it smashed gah!). As I was lurking on the Violet Box shop (again, those points needed spending!) I was drawn to the eyeliner as I wanted a new liner and also wanted to explore more of this brand.

This eyeliner was (in my opinion) a steal at just $19. Yay to great prices!

The tube it comes in is very similar to a fat marker, and it can be a little awkward to get use to, especially if you are used to thin eyeliners (which I am). It is a sleek, black tube with the Be a Bombshell logo printed on it.

The applicator tip is very marker like. When I swatched on my wrist it really was like drawing with a felt tip pen! I found it very easy to use and apply. Due to the large tip it can be a little difficult to get a thin line, but with a little practice (and avoiding to hold it the tube too sideways, or you'll mark your eyelid) you can get there. It is really easy to build this up into a lush thick line, which is exactly what I want! It also glides over my skin with no pull. It dries in a matter of seconds so no smudging.

See below for swatches. Top is two strokes, bottom is one stroke.

According to the product description it is a long lasting, water resistant formula and boy is that so. When I first swatched the liner on my wrist I didn't think to wash it off, and off I went to work on the farm. When I hopped in the shower that night I was shocked to see it was still there, like I'd just swatched it - no smudges. (Note farm work is dirty, smelly and sweaty!!) Very impressed! When I wore this properly I was so so happy with how long it lasted. I tend to have oily lids and often eyeliners smudge and transfer to my upper lid but this did none of that. It was there, just like I'd freshly applied all day and into the evening. WIN!

Overall, this is a fantastic product and I'm very very happy with it. Sorry Clinique, I've found a new favourite!

What are your favourite eyeliners?
