The theme for this month's box is Sport Your Style S/S 14. The theme intrigued me but looking at the contents I think this got a little lost. I think the basis is there but in my opinion it's all a little run of the mill and expected. I want to be impressed!

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion (29ml sample)

I now have 5 of these samples in my drawer! I'm pretty sure I've received it from Bellabox twice previously and have also received it in Lust Have It. It is a good moisturiser, and I will use it but I'd like to see something else featured. Considering you can get these samples at Costco for free I'm not overly thrilled to receive it in a subscription box.
Sleek Kajal Eyeliner (full size)

This is a very strange looking eyeliner. It looks like a crayon! It has a very odd tube, very short and makes it hard to hold in order to apply to your eyes. The description says it is highly pigmented, however on swatching I disagree. It is also a bit slippery in applying to the skin and the crayon actually moves around, so much so that I couldn't actually draw a straight line! It smudges very easily too. I will have more of a play around with it but from first impressions it isn't great.
Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser (25ml sample)

Love the sound of this product as it is a no rinse, meaning you simply tissue off. I do like Avene (I know a lot of people are over receiving it in beauty boxes though) so I will give this a try but I am in love with the Avene Cleanance range so I don't think this one will convert me. Besides, if I haven't got access to a tap to wash my face I'll use wipes!
OGX Renewing Morrocan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner (60ml samples)

God I am sick of receiving shampoo and conditioner from Bellabox! Yes, it's good to have these on hand for travelling etc but geez, can't they think of anything else to include?
Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer (full size)

I actually just bought up a few of these colours from Priceline during their half price Maybelline sale. Waiting for them to turn up in the post! Lucky for me this isn't a colour I ordered! I received Vernis. A nice spring colour. I'm happy to receive this and zi will get good use of it.
Palmer's Cocoa Body Butter (5ml sample)

I don't like Palmer's products, they leave my skin greasy and I dont like the smell either so I won't be using this one.
Overall, not too impressed with this month's contents. It has only just covered the $15 it cost (the items I received are worth $18 and let's face it, two of them you can get for free at Priceline) and to make it worse there isn't anything really exciting. I'm not all about the cost of things, and if I'd received great exciting items I'd be happy if it was only worth $18! I've only got a couple more months left on this annual subscription - will be glad when it's over! Bellabox has far to much difference in the boxes they send out in terms of products and value. I'm really over that! Since I opened this I have had a look on their facebook page and have seen other boxes worth 3 times mine. I don't understand why they do that and think that's fair? Anyway!
